Sister Spotlight: Sister Francis Mary Philipp, OP

Dominican Sister of Springfield
Sister Francis Mary’s ministry as liturgist at Sacred Heart Convent has led us all to an enhanced experience of the Divine. Associate Kara Mernaugh, experiences a peaceful environment when in our chapel, “There’s an experience that everyone is welcomed here!”

During the pandemic all of us have struggled. We are blessed when we have a supportive friend or mentor like Sister Francis Mary. She accompanies children, families, and individuals into the heart of the song, metaphorically speaking, as they grow in faith, struggle with the challenges of life, and learn to lean on God.
